Channel 3 expands consulting team with new hire

Channel 3 Consulting has appointed healthcare IT and technology change expert, Nick Elliott, as Consulting Partner.

Nick brings a wealth of experience from the public and private sector, including 10 years’ Board level experience in the NHS. As an integral member of Channel 3’s growing consulting team, Nick’s focus will be on supporting the complex transformation requirements associated with technology, from planning through to execution.

As one of the first Board level Chief Information Officers in the NHS, Nick was the first to introduce electronic observations and pioneered the use of mobile devices by the bedside. Nick successfully made the transition to Chief Operating Officer, transforming performance at a number of NHS hospitals. More recently he has been working in the private sector with software companies supporting the NHS.

Rhys Hefford, Group Chief Executive, Channel 3 Consulting, said: “Nick Elliott combines senior level transformation experience with a detailed knowledge of new technology and is particularly skilled in helping organisations digitise working practices. Demand for these skills is rapidly increasing and I am delighted to welcome Nick to our team.”

Nick Elliott, Consulting Partner, said: “I am excited to join Channel 3 at this time of expansion. I have known the team for many years and look forward to being part of an organisation that gives real world advice and helps clients deliver the outcomes they should expect from their investments in technology.”

Nick’s appointment comes just two months after the appointment of another Consulting Partner, Eleanor Rollason, which is indicative of the increasing demand for Channel 3’s healthcare and digital transformation expertise.
